Privacy policy

Eorzea Homecoming is a free fan project. The short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies. The planner runs client-side. Your answers live in the page URL and your own browser, not in any profile we keep.
Your plan answers
When you build a plan, your choices (where you left off and your goals) are encoded into the page address, e.g. /plan?left=7.1&goals=story,gear. That means they're visible in your browser history, they travel in any link you copy or share, and like any web address they appear in the standard server logs of our host. We don't store them in a database or tie them to you. Your theme choice (eh-theme) and last answers (eh-plan) are also kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them; clear your site data and they're gone.
Feedback form
If you use the feedback form, your message (plus your name and email if you choose to include them) is delivered to us by email (through our email provider, Resend) solely so we can read it and respond. Your email becomes the reply-to address. We don't add you to any list or use it for marketing.
Hosting & analytics
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the address requested) for security and reliability. Any analytics we add will be privacy-friendly and cookieless, with no cross-site tracking and no selling of data.

We cite sources like the Lodestone and community wikis. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
